Architecture

ALL WORK COMPLETED BETWEEN JANUARY 1, 2000 – DECEMBER 31, 2019

Residence

a. Under 300 sq yards plot size
b. Above 301 sq yards to 600 sq yards plot size
c. Above 601 sq yards plot size to 1000 sq yards
d. Above 1000 sq yards plot size
e. Rural/ vernacular residence low income settlements


Housing project

Any project consisting of multi-level development of two or more residences. Apartment buildings, row-houses, townhouses, gated communities


Civic building

Any public project that serves the community such as: Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Medical facilities, Clinics, Community Centers, Sports Center, City/Town Halls, Police stations/Academies, Court Houses, Embassies, Government Buildings


Cultural building

Any public project that enriches cultural dialogue in society; Museums, Art Galleries, Religious buildings, Libraries, Cultural Centers, Theatres, Concert Halls, Stadiums and all entertainment venues


Commercial building

Any private and or public-private commercial building serving as a workspace for a company’s head quarter, office workspace, Banks, Shopping centers, Gymnasiums, Factories and Industries


Hospitality building

Any project that is used primarily by the masses to eat, sleep and drink. Hotels, motels, restaurants, bakeries and café


Rebirth project/ renovation/ adaptive reuse

Any refurbishment, and or extension of a project of an existing building/structure (not applicable to residential refurbishment/extension)


Landscape project

Any landscape architecture project, public or private that involves the design of outdoor areas, parks, green spaces/belts/grounds of educational, hospitals or institutional buildings, public spaces and playgrounds


Infrastructure project

Any structure, facility or systems for public use pedestrian or vehicular, such as bridges, underpasses, kerbs/footpaths, cycle-paths, highways, bus stations, stations, airports, energy supply/grid stations


Heritage conservation/ adaptive reuse

Any heritage building conserved, preserved and or repurposed for sustainable measures


Competition projects

Any unbuilt works presented for architectural competitions locally or internationally


Interior projects

a. House interior

e. Wellness and leisure interior
f. Civic and cultural interior

Role of contestant in the creation to be declared with each entry. ONE award given to a complete body of work entry including:

a. Trademark and/or logo, Corporate identity manual and/or Corporate style guide and/or Brand strategy Guide including Point of Sales Design, Misc. Identity and Branding.

b. Collateral: Letterheads, envelope and business cards, Menu, price lists and similar works

c. Print Advertisements | Single or Campaign (demonstrating application of brand guidelines)

d. Social Media Graphics | Single or Campaign (demonstrating application of brand guidelines)

e. Promotional Materials: Calendar, Posters, Invitations etc. (demonstrating application of brand guidelines)


Advertising | Design for Commerce

Role of contestant in the creation to be declared with each entry. ONE award given to entries demonstrating innovation and excellence in:

Campaigns for conventional and unconventional media including indoors & outdoors advertising, digital (as part of campaign) and/or packaging.


Retail Design [Packaging]

Role of contestant in the creation to be declared with each entry. ONE award given to entries demonstrating innovation and excellence in:

 

a. Packaging Graphics/ Labels

b. Retail Bags & Accessories

c. Single or Campaigns/ packaging for events


Information Design

Role of contestant in the creation to be declared with each entry.ONE award given to entries demonstrating innovation and excellence in:

a. Infographics

b. Signage

c. Exhibition Design

d. Way-finding Systems, User Instructions

e. Data-Visualization


Editorial/Type Design
